Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Irish Whiskey
- 1 oz Simple Syrup (optional, to taste)
- Freshly brewed hot Coffee
- Whipped Cream
- Coffee beans for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Brew a strong cup of hot coffee.
- Preheat an Irish coffee glass by filling it with hot water, then discarding the water.
- Pour 1 1/2 oz of Irish whiskey into the warmed glass.
- If desired, add simple syrup to taste for sweetness.
- Fill the glass with hot brewed coffee, leaving some space at the top.
- Stir gently to mix the whiskey and coffee.
- Carefully float a layer of whipped cream on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
- Optionally, garnish with a few coffee beans on the whipped cream.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the comforting warmth of your Irish Coffee!
